about
Catseyes is the eighth song from my solo album "A Different Kind of Light".
It was recorded at home, Studiowz in West Wales and One-Eyed Jacks.
As you're slowly lifted from loss there are times when you learn to let go, stop trying to work it all out, and allow the road in front of you to take you home.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as we enjoyed making it.
lyrics
Catseyes on the road
Take me home.
Then you said
“Night owl, I’m fearing all of this now
So why won’t don’t let me go alone?”
Take me home
Take me home
Take me home
Catseyes on the road
Take me home
Then you said
“Night owl, I’m feeling all of this now
So how can I be the one to let you go?”
Just take me home
Just take me home
Just take me home
“Why you lying to me?
I’ve heard this before
Why you lying to me?
Do I have this all wrong?
Why you lying to me?
There’s hope in the dark
And no I’m not gonna leave you here tonight”
Just take me home
Just take me home
Just take me home
